How do we operate:
Help us to help you find a good English
speaking Homestay family
1) First you
must carefully read and correctly answer the questions on the “
Homestay Application Form” before
submitting to us.
We don’t want to waste your time,
our time and the Homestay family’s time:
2) Based on the information
you supply us on the “Homestay Application form”,
we will look at our information for a Homestay which we think would be best
suited for you.
We will look for the best Homestay we have available.
3) Once we find a suitable
Homestay family we will telephone you ( or send you a mobile phone
txt message asking you to telephone us ) and then
we will tell you about the family.
4) If you think this
family is the ideal family you are looking for, then we will telephone the family
and tell them about you.
5) If the family would
like to meet you then we will make an appointment, for us to take ( or
accompany ) you to meet the family.
NOTE:
We always prefer to meet students first at our office before taking them
to meet our Homestay family. Once we meet you we can tell you more about the
family, where they live, what their interests are, their occupation, about the
buses etc.
How to visit our office:
If you would like to visit our office please telephone
us first ( and make an appointment ) as we are often out taking students to
visit Homestays.

highlighted streets marked on our map

You can enlarge ( make larger ) the map, by 'Clicking' your computer mouse on
the 'icon' on the left side on the map. You can also print the map if
you have a printer.
Or:
You can catch the “Stagecoach” 922 / 921 bus opposite the “Sky
Tower” in Victoria Street, West and ask the Bus driver to “let you
off the bus at the first bus stop in Exmouth
Road, Northcote”. The journey by bus should only take you 7 – 10
minutes from “Sky Tower” to our street and 2 minutes walk from the
bus stop to our office.
Outside our office address you will see our mailbox ![]()
with our “Auckland Homestays” sign on the side of the mail box.
Walk down the middle driveway to the far end of the drive.
Look for our orange coloured
sign at the end of our driveway.
If you get lost and can not find our office address,

and pick you up in our car.
If you don’t have a car:
6) We
can arrange to pick you up from outside the
main entrance into the “Sky City Casino” in Victoria
Street West, Auckland City. Stand close to the coffee tables
outside on the footpath, beside the main entrance.
If you do have your own car:
7) We
can meet you OUTSIDE the Homestay’s home.
We will give you the name of the street where the Homestay family lives.
After you have:
We find that by providing the above service we
successfully place 95% of our students with good English speaking Homestay
families. We hope we can do the same for you, but you must help us
also by carefully reading the above information and correctly completing the
